Spitfire Consortium

Spitfire Consortium Mission Statement

We build true, fully sovereign British Spitfires—battle rifles for peace—not because we fear, but because we believe. Where others import, outsource, or hesitate, we act with resolve and precision, affirming a national capacity long dormant.

The Spitfire Consortium is not merely a manufacturer in formation wholly within the British sovereign industrial military complex, but a movement. We restore not just production but pride—uniting the people of Britain and the British Army in a shared narrative of competence, heritage, and integrity.

This is not simply about guns. Spitfire is a unifying icon. It connects a sovereign industry to a sovereign military, reintegrating the nation's industrial skill with its defence self-reliance. We stand not in rejection of our European allies, but as Britain standing tall among them—with confidence, dignity, and unmatched excellence.

Let us be clear: this is a public interest initiative, not-for-profit, bound by duty and by honour.

The Grayburn Rifle Project is our crucible: a return to sovereign, ethical manufacturing. Our rifles will be made not for conquest, but for deterrence—enshrining peace through readiness, not conflict. The British Army deserves nothing less than the best, and the best can and shall be British once more.

We thank our friends and allies in Beretta, Heckler & Koch, and Sako of Finland, whose participation in the Grayburn Rifle Project sets an essential benchmark and provides an invaluable sounding board. Their presence sharpens our clarity, aligns our ethics, and drives us to excellence.

In this fraternal competition, we strive not to defeat, but to surpass—with humility, with honour, and with joy at sharing this journey as partners in NATO and champions of freedom.
